Christ Jesus came into the world to save the lost!
All sufficient grace overflows to me, of sinners the foremost
My Redeemer’s great mercy displays his perfect patience
Rejoice in the faithfulness and love that are in Christ Jesus!
“Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance.” 1 Timothy 4:7-9 ESV
Godliness is treasured in every way holding the promise of life
Our hope is set on the living God for whom we toil and strive
Grow your faith with virtue, knowledge, restraint and steadfastness
Enhance brotherly affection with genuine love leading to godliness
“The saying is trustworthy, for: If we have died with him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us; if we are faithless, he remains faithful— for he cannot deny himself.” 2 Timothy 2:11-13 ESV
In suffering with Christ Jesus we will also reign with him
Our sufferings cannot compare to the Lamb who bore our sins
Rejoice! Suffering produces endurance, character and hope unending
All glory to Christ whose love for us was manifested in suffering!
“The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people.” Titus 3:8 ESV
Good works were prepared beforehand for us who are in Christ Jesus
Who gave himself for us to redeem us from all unrighteousness
A people zealous for good works for the glory of the Living Word
Let us stir up one another to love and devotion to good works!
