“EVERLASTING TO EVERLASTING!”

“As for you, O Lord, you will not restrain your mercy from me; your steadfast love and your faithfulness will ever preserve me!”

Psalm 40:11 ESV

Believe in the Light and become children of light

Goodness and mercy shall follow you all your life

Jesus prepares a place for you, look for His returning

In the house of the Lord find your eternal dwelling

To Him who sits on the throne be glory and blessing

His steadfast love is from everlasting to everlasting

All the deeds and wonders of Christ Jesus remember

Our Savior’s mercy and faithfulness endure forever

The Lord has loved you with an everlasting love

Set your heart and mind on the things from above

Keep Him before you and you shall not be shaken

All those who seek Jesus will not be forsaken

Preserve us, O Lord our God, in You we take refuge

For You only are the way and the life and the truth

Being rich in mercy You make us alive in Christ Jesus!

Rescuing us from darkness with shouts of deliverance!

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

I have been writing poetry since I was a teenager, but it wasn’t until a few of years ago that my writing became more spiritual and at the same time more prolific. As I shared my poetry with my wife, Hannah, and a few good friends, they encouraged me to place the poems in book form. My first book endeavor was “Because Of Him”, published in 2017. After hearing Sammy Murimi, the director of Share International Inc., speak at our church, I decided that the proceeds from that book would be donated to Share. In 2018, Hannah and I were privileged to go to Turkanaland in Kenya on a mission trip with Share. It was a life-changing experience for us both. Some of the inspiration from that trip is expressed in my second book, “His Cup Pours Out”. I include scripture verses with my poems because most of the poems I have written were inspired by reading God’s Word. I hope that as you visit this blog, you will meditate on the scripture verses and write down your prayers and thoughts for the week. My goal for this project has always been that God would be glorified! Robert M Hinnen
