“FORGIVING ONE ANOTHER”

“Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”

Ephesians 4:32 ESV

Pursue righteousness and kindness and find life

Be sanctified in the Truth and seek the true Light

See the goodness of God and His loving kindness

For when Jesus Christ appeared, He saved us!

Show kindness, love and mercy to one another

Seek unity of mind with a heart joyful and tender

God shows us the immeasurable riches of grace

Behold His only Son, Jesus, who died in our place

Let God replace your stony heart with a heart of flesh

A compassionate heart, full of humility and patience

Jesus considers our afflictions and forgives our sins

When we faithfully put all our hope and trust in Him

Christ Jesus is faithful to forgive our sins if we confess

He is the way, cleansing us from all unrighteousness

May we forgive our debtors as we have been forgiven

And give all praise to the glory of our Father in heaven!

I have been writing poetry since I was a teenager, but it wasn’t until a few of years ago that my writing became more spiritual and at the same time more prolific. As I shared my poetry with my wife, Hannah, and a few good friends, they encouraged me to place the poems in book form. My first book endeavor was “Because Of Him”, published in 2017. After hearing Sammy Murimi, the director of Share International Inc., speak at our church, I decided that the proceeds from that book would be donated to Share. In 2018, Hannah and I were privileged to go to Turkanaland in Kenya on a mission trip with Share. It was a life-changing experience for us both. Some of the inspiration from that trip is expressed in my second book, “His Cup Pours Out”. I include scripture verses with my poems because most of the poems I have written were inspired by reading God’s Word. I hope that as you visit this blog, you will meditate on the scripture verses and write down your prayers and thoughts for the week. My goal for this project has always been that God would be glorified! Robert M Hinnen
