“REJOICE AND BE GLAD”

“May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you! May those who love your salvation say evermore, “God is great!””

Psalm 70:4 ESV

Find Jesus when you seek Him with all your heart

Seek the Lord and His strength, His presence continually

Believe in Him, repent of sin and He will never depart!

Great and amazing are His deeds, the Lord God Almighty!

To the Rock of our salvation we make a joyful noice

Be glad and rejoice, for the Lord has done great things!

Rejoice in Christ Jesus always, again we will say rejoice!

Though we have not seen our Redeemer, we love Him

Rejoice in hope, be patient in trials, be constant in prayer

We who believe obtain salvation through Christ, our Lord

Draw near the throne of grace with each burden and care

Our souls long for His salvation and we hope in His Word!

Great is the Lord, our God, and greatly to be praised!

We believe in Christ Jesus and rejoice, forever joyful

Praise the King of kings, just and true are His ways!

“The outcome of your faith, the salvation of your soul!”

“Rejoice and be glad!” Hallelujah!

I have been writing poetry since I was a teenager, but it wasn’t until a few of years ago that my writing became more spiritual and at the same time more prolific. As I shared my poetry with my wife, Hannah, and a few good friends, they encouraged me to place the poems in book form. My first book endeavor was “Because Of Him”, published in 2017. After hearing Sammy Murimi, the director of Share International Inc., speak at our church, I decided that the proceeds from that book would be donated to Share. In 2018, Hannah and I were privileged to go to Turkanaland in Kenya on a mission trip with Share. It was a life-changing experience for us both. Some of the inspiration from that trip is expressed in my second book, “His Cup Pours Out”. I include scripture verses with my poems because most of the poems I have written were inspired by reading God’s Word. I hope that as you visit this blog, you will meditate on the scripture verses and write down your prayers and thoughts for the week. My goal for this project has always been that God would be glorified! Robert M Hinnen
