“When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be healed?” The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me.” Jesus said to him, “Get up, take up your bed, and walk.” And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked. Now that day was the Sabbath.”
John 5:6-9 ESV

I sat on the edge of salvation believing I could live life in my strength
Not knowing the love of Christ, it’s depth, height, breadth or length
Why would the Creator of the world send His only Son to die for me
There is nothing in me or works good enough to make me worthy
So many times I had tried to do life, ignoring the free gift of divine love
But no one can walk the path of redemption without grace from above
The bonds of sin kept me from the hope and peace I longed to own
My heart of stone had to be changed by the mercy flowing from His throne
Not until the gracious Holy Spirit opened my blinded eyes to our Savior
And I truly repented of my sin was I healed by my Redeemer forevermore
Saved by grace there is no better time to take up my cross and walk
Singing His praises all the day long, the name above all, I will ever exalt
I proclaim the love of Christ Jesus, the living water and His righteousness!
For His grace is sufficient and His power is made perfect in weakness!
Hallelujah!
